Naked underneath covers. I spent all day working, thinking about sex, then working again. It’s a very pedestrian existence. But it was good because I chose what to work on.
My voice pushed me to write about how Earth, too, is naked under covers. But space scares me. Better to instead talk about rearranging my bedroom and biologically-driven fantasies.
Sex is interesting because although it is an act that brings people together physically (and legally, with the consummation of marriage) it really illustrates our distance from each other. At most you’re rubbing your bodies together, and though you feel close, even as one, you’re just two bodies that remain separate.
